Sitting here watching the news this morning and most of the talk is about Hurricane Florence which is predicted to hit somewhere in the Carolina's later in the week. Can't help but wonder what my plans would be if this were September 24 instead of September 10. Hopefully it moves through without any major damage and everyone stays safe.
Latest track shows direct hit on Myrtle Beach. Possible 17' storm surge. Possible 2-4 FEET of rain!
Hotel is beachfront, so storm surge is big concern.
Sending all our prayers to everyone along the coast. Be safe and evacuate if you are asked to leave. Don't take a chance. You are too important to this world.
We are watching as well.
Our hearts are with the Carolinas as they endure hurricane Florence. AARST is closely monitoring the situation and will provide any necessary updates regarding our 2018 International Radon Symposium early next week after the damages have been assessed.
