This year's conference will be hosted on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati peoples.
CARST will be hosting our annual radon conference in Moncton this April, (just north of Maine) and we’d love to have you join us. Our event will bring together more than 150 attendees from across Canada, with expertise in building trades and indoor air quality in addition to radon.
Health Canada estimates that exposure to elevated radon levels in indoor air leads to over 3 000 lung cancer deaths in Canada each year. In New Brunswick, it’s estimated that over 20% of homes have radon levels that are above the Canadian Action Level of 200 Bq/m3.
This year's conference will pull together experts from across Canada and around the world to share knowledge on current research, updates on New Construction standards and building codes, efforts on First Nations, highlights on best practices.
This is a great opportunity to network with other radon professionals from across the border. That and the prices are in Canadian dollars... so you'll feel rich!
